My version of the 'Request Hour Set List Best 100' Hee. Finally got the time to sit down and rank my favourite songs. Includes all AKB & SKE stages plus Singles and Sub-Units that have been released so far, including the Iiwake/Tobenai single and SKE's Tsuyokimono yo. Whee, this is gonna be fun. o(^^o)(o^^)o わくわく
A little AKB intro -
Stages mean the show where they perform the song. Each team performs their own set list of songs for a period of time, known as a Stage. Currently Team A has 5 stages, K has 5 stages and B has 4 stages. For SKE, Team S has 2 stages and KII has one (IIRC)
Sub-units are well, sub-groups formed from the main AKB group with selected members.
H1/H2 are the Himawari-gumi Stages where they combined Team A & Team K members into Group 1 (the more popular members at the time) and Group 2 (the less popular girls)

Okay, I kinda cheated a bit by making it Top 103 songs actually =p Since its technically Top 100 'AKB' songs, so, the extra 3 songs are those that would've been included if not for the SKE songs. Hehehe... And yes, I know that the actual Best 100 concerts include EVERYTHING under the (AKB)sun but this is my ranking so.. =p

97. Arigatou [K3] - Imai Yu (Yu's graduation solo song. She wrote the song specially for this occasion. Sniff. Graduations are always sad.)
96. Amai Kokansetsu [Amai Kokansetsu single] - Ohori Meshibe (Team K's Ohori Megumi's solo single cd. I love Meetan and all but the song to me is just pretty average. But great job managing to pass the 10,000 sales mark. Bad Aki-P! >.>)
95. Naki Nagara Hohende [K3] - Oshima Yuko (Yuko's solo song. Very pretty tune, I know I should like this more but..gomen Yuko XD)

33. Iiwake Maybe [Iiwake Maybe single] Elected members #1-21 (I feel I should like this more. I can listen to it on repeat for a long time, the PV is one of their best too but...*shrugs* Oh, and Super Mariko was so cool! XD
32. Inochi no Tsukaimichi [B3] Team B (w00t. The cheorography for this blows me away. They do the broken doll thing so well. Very haunting/chilling song. And I love Yukirin's expression when she pulls her hand back.)
31. Ai no Iro [K5] Sae,Yuka,Megumi,Rina,Manami,RS (Huge unit. Seriously, the K5 unit songs ALL pwn. K5 would so suck without them. I think Ishida's been subbing for Risa since the beginning if I'm not mistaken.)
30. Hana to Chire! [K3] Team K (Moar Team K POWAH! They should perform this song more in concerts.)
29. Sasae [K4] Team K (Another tear-jerker. Sniff. I love how Team K's so united and all. I love the end part where each member says their name and then Sayaka announces that all 16 Team K members are present (whenever they are, anyways))
28. Junjou Shugi [B3] K.Haruka,M.Yuki,Naru/Moeno (Haachan! *_* With all the crap Team B had to deal with, B3 more than made up for it. Well, mostly anyways. B3 rocked!)

26. Sakura no Hanabira-tachi [SnH single(s)] Selected members (Song about graduation, awww. This song is lovelovelove. And everybody looked really really good in the PV. But, as always, Team B got shafted pretty bad >.> On a brighter note, I bet tons of wotas would've killed to be that statue xD)
25. Kinjirareta Futari [K2] Yuko,Kasai (Fufu... Don't you just wish they'd have their happily ever after? XD And this was back when Kasai still had the droopy-eye thing going on. *3*)
24. Shonichi [B3] Team B (Hahaha, Team B fans' big F*** You to the management. Never underestimate wota power =p Great & meaningful lyrics and a catchy tune make for a great song. Does it deserve to be #1 at AX09? =p Well, the fans have spoken.)
23. Stand Up [K4] Team K (Needs more love at concerts. Not performed nearly enough. Such a waste. It's an awesome song)
22. Oshibe to Meshibe to Yoru no Chouchou [K4] Megumi,Kasai (Heh. This is one song that has to be seen to be fully appreaciated. XD Meetan so owns this song. And Kasai plays the loli role to a T. LOL.)
21. Saishuu Bell ni Naru [K4] Team K (K4 title song. Overplayed as hell, but still has a nice 'ring' to it (pun intended) XD)
20. MARIA [K3] Yuka,Kasai,Ayaka (Yuka PWNAGE. Pure and simple. The bit with the mikes is ingenious.)
19. Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru [A3] Team A (Technically the first ever AKB song I ever heard, way back in '07. I remember thinking wtf48members! XD Hahaha...still, I really liked the song, but just never bothered.)
18. Mushi no Ballad [K5] Akimoto Sayaka (Yet another Team K member gets a solo song ^___^ Sayaka's powerful vocals really stand out here. Emo-Rock-Ballad type song.)
17. First Love [Namida Surprise single] Ono Erena (Team K's Erepyon gets a solo song. First time I saw it on AKBingo, it didn't really catch my interest. But after listening to it a couple more times I absolutely love it. Pyon really has a nice voice. *_*)
16. Kagami no Naka no Jean D'Arc [B3] Rino,CinDy,Rumi,Miku,Miki (Team B can do power songs too y'know XD The whole song+perf is just too cool. Sasshi does a good job leading the group. And Team K did an awesome job in the NHK Hall shuffle concert too. Conclusion, the song just rocks.
15. Mori he Ikou [H2] All members (Words cannot describe the awesomeness of this song. This needs to be put onto a studio album badly. Damn you De[s]ath[/s]fStar.)
14. Aisareru to Iu Koto [ICE OAV ED song] ICE from AKB48 (Another sub-unit, this time created specifically for the anime OAV ICE. Truly craptastic anime which was produced solely for the reason of promoting the song. It never amazes me how Aki-P can write such awesome lyrics, but such horrible plots *koffdensenutakoff*. Such a shame that this song was never offically released in any format. I could go on and on bout this whole ICE thing.)
13. Namida Uri no Shoujo [A3] Team A (One of their older, darker songs. Le sigh, how I miss such songs >.> I love the sudden rap-ish part near the end. XD)
12. AKB Sanjou! [A5] Team A (If you thought AKB48 was cheesy, you have not heard this then, it's definitely cringe-worthy. But somehow I just love this song to bits. =p And the flashlights? Brilliant. The best was during JCB Hall concert where the whole group performed it and formed a huge flashlight-ed AKB sign. WIN.)
11. Higurashi no Koi [H1] Unit groups (While Ohyay and Deguchi did a good job for Group 2, Group 1's version is sung by Yuka and Takamina, arguably AKB's two BEST vocalists at the moment. And I also love that it's not your usual idol fare.)
10. Oogoe Diamond [A5] Selected members (Well, this was also their 11th single. I first heard it as Mendol's ed song. It really grew on me since then. I love the pv as well, lol. Srsly, akb pvs are so full of drama XD. This song is so mainstream idol-pop.)
9. Shamu Neko [K4] Team K (Meow! =p Kickass song!)
8. Melos no Michi [K4] Team K (I love love love it. Love the whole 2 groups facing off against each other thing in the performance. Seeing it on the bigger concert stage really is awe-worthy.)
7. BIRD [A3] Takahashi,Mai,Mariko (Must listen. Takamina shows us that size really doesn't matter. It's the voice that counts XD I could sing along to this the whole day~♪♪)
6. Temo Demo no Namida [B3] Yuki,Mika (Yukirin! <3 I loved this song since I first heard it. After watching the AX09 concert I love it, and Yukirin, even more. It really sucks that Mikachii has graduated now.)

2. Tobenai Agehachou [Iiwake Maybe single] Under Girls (Elected members #22-30) (Feels like I've been waiting forever for this song to come out ever since the election results came out awhile back. It's so 90's Momosu-pop, but I happen to like 90's pop. XD I love this song, way more than Iiwake Maybe. The pv came out a couple days ago and it absofuckinglutely rules! I love it to death. Can't wait for the HD ver now. Can't believe I'm saying this now, lol, but I'm so freakin glad Yuka didn't make it into senbatsu xD. She's so much better suited to Tobenai. And looks like AKS screwed us over with regards to Iiwake members screentime anyways. Blah. Sae got a decent amount of screentime, so I'm happy.
1. Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou [A4] Team A (Also their 5th single. I don't think I'll ever get tired of listening to this song. This is the one song I could die listening to lol. It's just awesome beyond words. I swear I'll try my damnest to vote this song back into next year's AX concert. Rawr!)
And that's all folks! Phew! That was looong. x.X It was tough choosing only 100 songs, they have so many great songs. Of course, the hardest part was ranking them, once I picked out 100.
Random fact: I have 33 Team K songs ranked, not counting the Himawari-gumi stages. Team K saikou! XD
